In September 2017, temporary changes were made to the delivery of all emergency in-patient Urology care within Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, in order to maintain a high quality and safe service for patients. 

From September 2017, all emergency in-patient care was provided only from Scunthorpe General Hospital. This care had previously been provided from both Scunthorpe General Hospital and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. 

If you have been referred to a hospital for an operation and you need to stay overnight, it means you are being treated as an inpatient.
